  • Jane Bendall

I grew up on a farm at Peak Hill, where I attended Peak Hill Central School, and completed my HSC via the Western Access Program (video conferencing). My heart was set on being a paramedic, however after deferring uni and taking a gap year, I realised it was not for me. After trialing a number of different careers, and also travelling extensively and living overseas in the Yukon for two years, I came back with a passion for tourism, stakeholder engagement and business. I am currently the Visitor Information Coordinator of both Dubbo and Wellington Visitor Information Centres.

  • Lucia McDermott

Hi, my name is Lucia and I currently work at Fletchers in Meat Export. I enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and seeing just how far our Australian grown meat reaches across the globe and being apart of a process of feeding many mouths across a huge range of countries. I am originally from Sydney and after finishing my schooling years I got straight into Ag, working in far North Queensland and on family farms in Condobolin and across NSW. This has boosted a real passion for agriculture, I studied a degree of Agribusiness at Marcus Oldham University in Geelong and now live and work in Dubbo. I still love working, where I spend a large portion of my time working with sheep as much as I can, as well as prioritising exercise for health and well-being as a good balance between work and my spare time.
